Spring is the season for those who know where to look.
Spring is a season of transition, and that is what makes it interesting: some destinations are at their best and others have fewer people and better prices. Japan with the cherry blossom, Morocco and Jordan before the heat, Greece and Portugal before the crowds.
In much of Africa, April and May are the green season: landscapes full of life, far fewer visitors and lower rates at many camps. Some close for the rains, so it is not for everyone, but for travellers who know what they want it is a great time to go.
