About Us
We are Carla and Fátima González Carriles, two sisters with a shared passion for transformative travel. Carla is the architect of each journey —she designs the route, negotiates with suppliers and takes care of every logistical detail—, while Fátima is the connector —she accompanies you from the first conversation until you return home with a suitcase full of memories. Together we have over 20 years of experience in luxury travel and have personally visited more than 60 countries.
Because you're not just a file number. By working directly with us, you have access to the people who actually design and supervise your trip. No intermediaries, no call centres, no generic responses. We personally know the owners of the lodges we recommend, we've slept in the rooms we book and we've travelled the routes we propose. That first-hand experience is impossible to replicate at a mass-market agency.
Three things make us unique: first, our personal experience —we don't sell catalogues, we sell places we know—. Second, our absolute flexibility —we have no fixed packages or predefined itineraries—. And third, our real availability —during your trip, you have our personal WhatsApp and we're available 24/7, not a customer service line with hold music.
How We Work
It all starts with a conversation. We schedule a video call (or an in-person meeting if you prefer) to get to know you: what moves you, where you've travelled before, what you dream of experiencing. From there, we design an initial tailor-made proposal. We review it together, adjust it until every detail fits, and when you're ready, we formalise the booking. Throughout the process, we communicate directly —no automated emails or impersonal forms.
It depends on the complexity of the trip, but usually between 5 and 10 working days for a detailed initial proposal. Very elaborate trips (several weeks, multiple countries, exclusive experiences) may require more time. That's why we recommend contacting us at least 3-4 months in advance, and 6 months or more for peak season or high-demand destinations.
The first proposal is free. If after receiving it you want to make significant modifications that require redesigning the trip, we apply a design fee of €90 which is deducted from the final price if you confirm the booking.
Of course. Although we mainly work via video call (which allows us to serve clients from all over Spain and abroad), we're happy to meet in person if you're in Cantabria or Madrid. Just let us know when scheduling your first conversation.
We recommend a minimum of 3 months for low season trips and 6 months for high season. Destinations like Tanzania during the Great Migration, Japan during cherry blossom season, or very exclusive lodges may require up to 12 months advance booking. That said, sometimes we can work magic with less time —ask us and we'll see what's possible.
Destinations and Experiences
Our soul is in Africa —Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Madagascar are destinations we know in depth. We're also specialists in Asia (Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Maldives) and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand). We'll soon be expanding our offering to Latin America and Europe.
We're working on incorporating both destinations into our offering. We'll approach Europe with a focus on luxury experiences and self-drive routes through less-travelled places. Latin America will arrive with our signature: authentic travel, trusted local suppliers and experiences that go beyond the typical. Photographic safaris, gorilla and chimpanzee encounters, cultural routes, remote beaches, temples and spirituality, local gastronomy, active adventure... Each trip is designed from scratch according to your interests. We don't have predefined packages —that means if you want to combine three days of safari with a week of yoga in Zanzibar and finish diving in the Maldives, we make it happen.
Honeymoon trips are one of our specialities. We understand it's a unique trip, probably the most important you'll take together, and we dedicate special attention to it: surprise details, upgrades when possible, and the flexibility that such a special trip deserves. Africa is an incredible honeymoon destination —it combines adventure, romance and landscapes you'll never forget.
Absolutely. In fact, a family safari is one of the most enriching experiences you can give your children. We select family-friendly lodges with specific programmes for children, family rooms, specialised guides and activities adapted to each age. We also take into account factors like malaria (there are malaria-free zones ideal for families with young children) and driving times to ensure the trip is comfortable for everyone.
Tanzania is a year-round destination, but the experience varies by season. The Great Migration is in the Serengeti all year —in the north (Mara) from June to October with spectacular river crossings, and in the south (Ndutu) from December to March during calving season. The green season (April-May) offers fewer crowds, better prices and lush landscapes. We help you choose the perfect time according to your priorities.
During Your Trip
During your trip, you have our personal WhatsApp number. We're available 24/7 for any unforeseen situation. Additionally, we work with trusted local suppliers at each destination who can act immediately if something urgent arises (a lodge, a guide, a medical situation). By not using intermediaries, the communication chain is direct and fast.
Yes, we include airport assistance on all our trips. This includes private pick-up and transfers, and in many destinations we can arrange Meet & Greet services that help you with immigration and customs for the smoothest possible arrival.
It depends on the destination. In some places (like Tanzania or Kenya) we can arrange Spanish-speaking guides, although availability is more limited and advance booking is advisable. In Asia, most guides work in English. We inform you of the options available for each destination and find the best solution according to your preferences.
Requirements vary by destination and nationality, but as part of our service we provide you with all the updated information: visas (and we handle their processing if you wish), mandatory and recommended vaccinations, travel insurance, and any other specific requirements. We also send you a pre-trip guide with all the practical information you need.
Payments and Bookings
We typically work with an initial deposit of 30-40% to confirm the booking, and the balance is paid before the departure date (exact deadlines depend on each supplier's policies). We accept bank transfer and, for your convenience, we can split payments into several instalments if you prefer.
It depends on what you prefer. We can take care of everything (international flights, internal flights, accommodation, experiences, transfers) or just the destination services if you prefer to arrange your own flights. In the proposal we always clearly detail what is and isn't included.
It's essential. We don't start any trip without confirmation that you have insurance with adequate coverage for the destination (including medical evacuation for remote destinations). We can advise you on the best options and handle the contracting if you wish.
Cancellation conditions depend on each supplier and how much time remains until departure. Before confirming any booking, we clearly inform you of the applicable policies. That's also why we insist on the importance of travel insurance with cancellation coverage.
