Mongolia
The last nomadic frontier: infinite steppes, wild horses, gers under the stars and the legacy of Genghis Khan
Mongolia is one of the last places on the planet where nomads still live as they did centuries ago: in gers (yurts) that move with the seasons, raising horses, yaks and goats on steppes that stretch to the horizon. It is adventure in its purest state.

Central Mongolia
Central Mongolia
Classic steppes: Karakorum (Genghis Khan's ancient capital), Erdene Zuu monastery, nomadic families, horses and the heart of Mongolian culture.

Gobi Desert
Gobi Desert
The great Asian desert: Khongoryn Els dunes, Bayanzag cliffs where dinosaur eggs were found, Yol canyon. Martian landscapes.

Lake Khövsgöl
Lake Khövsgöl
Baikal's younger sibling: Mongolia's largest lake, crystalline water, Siberian taiga, reindeer and the Tsaatan (reindeer people).

Altai Mountains
Altai Mountains
The remote west: snow-capped mountains, glaciers, and Kazakh hunters who hunt with golden eagles. The eagle festival is in October.
The infinite steppes
Horizons that never end, enormous skies, herds of horses galloping free. Mongolia's steppes are one of the last great wild spaces on the planet.
Experiences
Mongolia offers experiences that don't exist anywhere else: sleeping in yurts with nomads, riding through infinite steppes, watching eagle hunts, finding dinosaur fossils.

Sleep with nomads
Spending the night in a nomadic family's ger: sharing tea, food, stories. Watching them milk mares, tend herds. Pure hospitality.

Ride across the steppe
Riding tough Mongolian horses through infinite landscapes. From a few hours' ride to multi-day expeditions sleeping in gers.

Gobi dunes
Climbing the Khongoryn Els dunes at sunset: 100 meters of sand in the middle of the desert. Watching the sun set over the Gobi is unforgettable.

Eagle Festival
In October, Kazakh hunters compete with their golden eagles. Riders in furs, enormous eagles, snowy mountains. A centuries-old tradition.
The legacy of Genghis Khan
History's greatest conqueror was born on these steppes. Karakorum was capital of the largest empire ever known. Mongolia still venerates its most famous son.
Mongolia has ger camps of different levels: from basic to premium with private bathroom. The most authentic experience is sleeping with nomadic families.
